What you can expect when you get your new windows and doors from Cardinal Exteriors:
A representative from Cardinal Exteriors will schedule a no-pressure design consultation to evaluate your current windows and doors, take measurements, discuss your specific needs and preferences, explore options in material and styles, and determine if full-frame or insert replacement installation is the right choice for your home.
At Cardinal, we appreciate that new windows and doors are a significant purchase, so we’ll ask to meet with you again to explain our bid in detail, answer any questions you may have, and give you a better understanding of our process and the products we’ll be recommending for your home.
After you decide to move forward with your project, your personal Project Manager will contact you. They’ll answer any additional questions you may have. Depending on the requirements of your project, they may request to visit in person to confirm measurements, construction details, and product selection. Once the measurements and details are confirmed, your project manager will place your order.
We’ll email you a week before your scheduled installation date to confirm the appointment. We’ll provide a checklist for you to prepare for your installation, such as moving furniture away from your windows and doors, removing any window treatments, and having a plan to keep small children and pets safe on installation day.
Removal and preparation:
On installation day, your old windows and doors will be removed, and any necessary preparation work will be done to ensure a smooth installation process (i.e. building out framing for new bay windows or repairing rough openings that have been rotted due to water damage). We’ll take care of every detail, including disposing of your old windows and doors.
The new windows and doors will be installed by the professional team at Cardinal Exteriors. We will make sure that the new windows and doors are properly sealed and insulated to ensure energy efficiency.
Cleanup and final inspection:
Our job isn’t complete until we remove all waste and debris from the site. We run a magnet around the perimeter of your home to pick up any errant nails, staples, or screws. Your project manager will make a quality control walk-through, ensuring that every aspect of your new roof meets our demanding standards and your complete satisfaction.
Warranty and maintenance:
Cardinal Exteriors will provide a warranty on the new windows and doors and will offer advice on how to maintain them to ensure they continue to function properly for a long time.
