Bid presentation:

At Cardinal, we appreciate that purchasing new siding, soffits, and fascia is not a familiar process, so we’ll ask to meet with you again to explain our custom proposal in detail, to answer any questions you may have, and to give you a better understanding of our process and the products we’ll be recommending for your home.

Scheduling your new exterior:

In most cases, we schedule projects to begin within 30 days of receiving a signed contract for the work to be performed. This can sometimes vary, based on product availability, weather, and other factors. We’ll keep you well informed of the project start date with regular communications from the time you sign the contract through project completion.

Removing the old siding, soffits, and fascia:

The first step is to remove all of the old siding. We pay careful attention to details, like pulling any existing nails instead of simply pounding them flush. Why? Because we know those nails are more likely to loosen and can cause issues with the new siding. We’ll also inspect the exterior sheathing (the material, typically wood, that covers the framing) for any weakened wood, rot, or mold.

Preparing the surface:

We will repair and replace any sheathing that is weak or damaged. We may also recommend adding an extra layer of underlayment board beneath your siding. This ensures a smooth, even surface, and makes your home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

Installing the new siding, soffits, and fascia:

Cardinal Exteriors will install the new materials properly, according to manufacturer’s best practices. We are always up to date with the way manufactures want the siding installed and their factory installation guidelines. This ensures you are getting the absolute best installation with complete compliance and warranty coverage.

Cleanup and final inspection:

Our job isn’t complete until we remove all waste and debris from the site. We run a magnet around the perimeter of your home to pick up any errant nails, staples, or screws. Your project manager will make a quality control walk-through with you, to be sure that every aspect of your new exterior meets our demanding standards and your complete satisfaction.

Guarantee:

New siding, soffits, and fascia from Cardinal Exteriors comes with a 5-year Workmanship Warranty, guaranteeing freedom from installation defects along with the product manufacturer’s product warranty.
