About Us
Our Story
Cardinal Exteriors was founded in Burnsville in 1984 and is now located in Medina, Minnesota. We have served homeowners across the Twin Cities metro for more than four decades. What began as a general exterior contracting company has evolved into something more focused: Cardinal Exteriors is now the Twin Cities’ exterior-envelope repair specialist, concentrating on wildlife damage repair and permanent exclusion, storm and insurance restoration, and proactive home maintenance.
That evolution wasn’t accidental. After years of seeing the same pattern — pest control companies removing animals and leaving homeowners with no one to repair the structural damage — we recognized an opportunity to fill a critical gap.
The Adam’s Pest Control Connection
Cardinal Exteriors is the sister company of Adam’s Pest Control, one of Minnesota’s most established pest management companies. The relationship is simple and powerful: Adam’s removes the wildlife. Cardinal repairs the structural damage and permanently seals entry points so animals can’t return.
This partnership gives Twin Cities homeowners a seamless, end-to-end solution — from removal to repair to prevention — without needing to coordinate between multiple contractors. When Adam’s identifies structural damage during a wildlife removal, Cardinal Exteriors is the team that makes it right.
